With autumn in the air, we bring you a new tapestry to snuggle up with on the sofa. With its greys, golds and pumpkin tones, Grey Hearts captures the colours of the season.
Measuring 10.5″ x 10.5″ (approx, 27cm x 27cm) Grey Hearts is a lovely design to stitch and use as the centre of a cushion panel or bag. Make it for yourself or stitch it as a gift.
We made our own Grey Hearts into a cushion with grey woolly border and backing and contrast piping in yellow cotton.
TOP TIP A Grey Hearts tapestry would be a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift. With so many weddings being cancelled or postponed this year and dates constantly changing, a patchwork of hearts says it all and removes any anxiety about stitching in a wedding date which may need to be altered a few months later.
The first batches of kits have already left our workshop. The wool colours look lovely!
The colours in Grey Hearts will work really well alongside Ba-Ba-Bloom and the other tapestries in the Bloom series. If you’ve stitched Ba-Ba-Bloom, Bloom-Pah-Pah, Ba-Ba-Birds or Ditsy Daisies you may well have accumulated a big bag of left over wool with grey shades, which leads us to the next subject…
