Very Small Designs
Jolly Red starter kits, and all designs up to 6″ square: £70.00. This includes a mitred border which can be up to 3″ wide. Please specify border width required when sending in your work. For our Jingle Bell Robins we added a 3″ border in Lincoln green velvet with contrast piping in bright red velvet.
Small & Medium Designs
Design size: 7″ – 11″: £75.00. These designs can be made up with an extra border round, so that they become a practical size (please add £10.00).
For designs up to 7-10″ we add a 3″ border all round.
Standard Making Up
Design size 12″ – 16″: £85.00. Our most popular and ‘standard’ option, cushions are made up with piping and backing. The piping and backing can both be in the same colour, or in contrast/coordinating shades. We used red velvet piping and backing for our Tennis Ball Thief tapestry.
Design size over 16“: Call for prices, as the cost will depend on the size of your completed needlepoint.
Mitred Edging
A mitred border acts as a frame for your finished needlepoint, and can turn a small design into a more useful cushion.
Please add £10.00 (per design) to the standard making up prices for all but the ‘Very small/Small Designs’, which have a mitred border as standard. For our Grey Hearts tapestry, below, we added a 2.5″ border in our woolly fabric with contrast cotton piping in yellow.
