Christmas posting dates

Yikes! Christmas is getting closer now, and we’re all starting to plan our festive shopping. Set out below are our last dates for posting tapestry kits. We’ve concentrated on the parts of the world that we send to most regularly.

Posting to UK addresses (including Channel Islands)

Wednesday 18th Dec: 2nd class signed for.

Friday 20th Dec: 1st class signed for. This is the last ‘normal’ posting date. Please phone us on 01460 281111 if you’re in a panic. It’s sometimes quicker to do things over the phone, and we are very happy to help and advise about your purchase if necessary.

Monday 23rd Dec: Special Delivery Next Day pre-1pm service but we really don’t think it’s advisable to leave it until as late as this. The post operatives will be tired and over-stretched and for our part, there’s always the possibility that we may have run out of some lines in spite of our careful stock planning. Call us on 01460 281111 by 11am if ordering on 23rd and we’ll check that your kit is in stock.

International Deliveries

Monday 9th Dec: Japan, Singapore.

Wednesday 11th Dec: Eastern Europe.

Thursday 12th Dec: Australia and New Zealand.

Saturday 14th Dec: Canada, USA, Italy, Sweden.

Monday 14th Dec: Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Spain.

Weds 18th Dec: France, Republic of Ireland, Belgium.

The days between Christmas and New Year

Friday 27th December: This will be a normal post day for tapestry kits, so treat yourself to some New Year stitching if you’ve been busily entertaining the family for several days, and need to put your feet up! Friday 27th is the only day between Christmas and New Year that Royal Mail will be collecting from us.

Large deliveries/Making up Service We will not be sending out any large parcels (including trade orders) by courier between 23rd Dec – 2nd January. We also do not send completed tapestries from our Making up Service during these dates as there’s always the risk of non-delivery and parcels being left in a depot for several days – or worse, on a doorstep in the rain.
