You’ve finished your tapestry, so now’s the time to post it to us for our sewing ladies to work their magic. Below are links to our fabric selections to help you choose the colours and fabric you’d like us to use when sending your tapestry to us for making up.
Our cotton fabric is a popular option for a fresh summer look for your tapestry. Our cotton fabric ranges go from creams and yellows through to pastel shades, brights, and on to greys and black.
We also have some good options in our woolly range. This fabric is wonderful if you have a tapestry with a country feel, and it is a practical option as it is very hardwearing.
Our third fabric range is our velvet, always a popular choice for Christmas stockings, as well as being a luxurious option for cushion backings.
More help needed – samples? Call us on 01460 281111 if you need help or advice on choosing colours. We can send fabric samples to UK addresses, so email kelly@jollyred.co.uk or complete our online contact form if you’d like us to post some to you. Let us know the title of the tapestry you have completed and give us a rough idea of the colours and fabric you’d like. Do remember to include your address for the samples!
Non-Jolly Red canvases We can help with tapestries that aren’t Jolly Red canvases. We up many Ehrman tapestries, so do get in touch if you have completed an Ehrman needlepoint canvas or two. Many Ehrman stitchers stitch Jolly Red canvases and vice versa, and it makes sense to have all of your canvases made up to the same professional standard. We also make up canvases by Emily Peacock and Elizabeth Bradley, so are familiar with colours that work well for their designs.
Please use our contact form to get in touch, or call us on 01460 281111

Prices/booking form Our current prices are in the making up area of our website and are also included on the leaflet we send out with fabric samples. We can send you a booking form if you need one, either by post or email. Filling in a booking form helps you to remember to include all the information we need.
Once you’re ready to post your tapestry, use a ‘signed for’ method of posting and send it to us at:
There’s no need to buy a tube from the post office, as your canvas can be folded. The boxes that our kits are sent out in are ideal, or re-use something that you already have in the house. We are keen recyclers and enjoy seeing a variety of parcels turning up each day!
As long as our address is clear, and the parcel is well wrapped/taped you’ll be fine. Please also write your name and address on the reverse of your parcel.
We look forward to receiving your tapestry and to making it up to the highest professional standard,
Kelly
