A warm festive hello! The first week of December disappears almost as soon as it arrives so we’re here with a reminder about this year’s last posting dates for Christmas. If you like to come and collect a tapestry kit, we also have a note about visits to our Somerset workshop. Do call or message us before you set off, so we know to expect you.

Last posting dates for Christmas With so many uncertainties about international post dates because of the Covid situation, air freight capacities as well as possible bad weather, we are only able to give official posting dates for UK parcels.

We will continue to send overseas parcels by Royal Mail’s International services, so we advise you to look at Royal Mail’s guideline dates for international parcels leaving the UK.

Christmas posting dates – UK

Tuesday 21st December – Tracked 48 post (2nd class, tracked)

Wednesday 22nd December – Tracked 24 post (1st class, tracked)

Thursday 23rd December – Special Delivery (a surcharge will apply for this service)

Campervan Road Trip for anyone planning a big adventure in 2022!

The vast majority of our UK kit orders are sent by Royal Mail’s Tracked service, so you will be kept updated by email or text about the progress of your order.

Coming to collect? If you would like to pop in to our workshop to pick up a kit for yourself or a gift, please do get in touch and let us know when you’d like to visit. This year we will be in the workshop until 5pm on Thursday 23rd December. If you are likely to be in a hurry and know which kit/s you’d like to collect, call us on 01460 281111 and we’ll make sure they are ready for you.

Jolly Red’s opening times Hmm, this is always tricky. Our opening hours vary, and we tend to work late evenings on Mondays and Tuesdays. We don’t close for lunch. We are often in at the weekend, on Sundays rather than Saturdays. No two weeks are the same!

Festive visitors – finding us Please note that we are at Unit 4B Walronds Park (TA3 6QP) which is at the Westport end of Isle Brewers (we used to be at the other end of the village, towards Fivehead). If your satnav takes you to a locked gate it means that you have arrived at the wrong entrance of the business park (both entrances share the same postcode). Please turn around and go back up to the lane, turn right and then take another right at the small junction and start to drive down the hill. The nice wide main entrance to Walronds Park will appear on your right after a few seconds.

Where is Jolly Red’s workshop on Walronds Park? Jolly Red’s workshop is at the far end of the first unit on the left. There is plenty of parking directly outside our unit, and you can happily park in front of any of the cars already parked outside. We request that you don’t park by our neighbours’ units as you could be in the way of their own vehicles or obstruct delivery drivers. Walronds Park is a busy place!

Please remember to wear your mask when you visit, in line with the current coronavirus guidelines.

We hope this information is useful for you, and look forward to providing you and your friends and family with some cheery festive stitching,

Kelly

PS We will have another newsletter ready to send soon, so remember to sign up if you haven’t already done so!
