When you’ve finished your tapestry it’s time for the next stage, the making up. Our team of skilled upholsterers can add the final flourish to your tapestry. We have three categories of fabric, all in upholstery weight: cotton, a wool mix, and velvet.
Today we’ll focus on our velvet fabrics. Velvet adds a luxurious finishing touch to your tapestry but is not always be the most practical option. Stitchers in warmer climates or with very lively and active households (humans and pets, perhaps) might consider cotton or wool mix alternatives.
Here is an idea of the colours we have in stock, starting with the greens:
Moving on to blues. Electric Blue is a new shade. As its name suggests, it’s a very vibrant blue.
Our yellows and oranges, introducing Sun, another bright shade:
Reds and purples…Christmas Red is the most popular red for Christmas stockings:
Finally, our greys and browns:
Fabric swatches We are happy to send swatches of fabric to UK addresses and can also advise over the phone – on 01460 281111 – if you aren’t sure about colours for your tapestry, even if it isn’t a Jolly Red design.
Posting your parcel When sending your tapestry to us, do use a Signed For method so that you’ll know that it’s arrived safely and be able to track it if it’s held up anywhere en route. You don’t necessarily need to send it in a tube. We encourage recycling so re-use a jiffy bag if you have one to hand, or the box that your tapestry arrived in.
