A-Z Animals B for Birds tapestry is an adorable letter ‘B’ birth sampler needlepoint kit featuring birds on a tree, with red berries. In the border there are lots more ‘b’ imagery – butterflies, boats, more birds and the three bears with a porridge bowl in the corners.
TIP: Stitch B for Birds for a little Ben, Beatrice, Bella, Bodhi, Brooklyn, or other ‘J’ name – or leave out the ‘J’s in the corners and stitch for a child whose name begins with any letter of the alphabet. This applies to all our A-Z Animals designs. Just choose your favourite design and adjust the letters or leave out as needed.
Colour printed canvas, with alphabets and numbers charts included for planning the name panel. Stitch either a large single name or more names and birth details, e.g. date of birth and/or birth weight.

A-Z Animals B for Birds tapestry kit is a beautiful sunshine-filled letter 'B' tapestry with birds on branches, butterflies, boats and more birds in the borders. We've made a reference to the Goldilocks fairy tale with three bears and a porridge bowl in the corners of the border.
B for Birds is wonderful to stitch to celebrate the arrival of a bouncing baby. There's space to stitch either a large single name, or to stitch more details, eg date of birth and/or birth weight. Lettering and numbers charts are included in the kit.
Once stitched, frame your finished tapestry as a picture or make into the centre of a larger cushion, or make a book bag for a favourite bedtime book.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but will help to prevent your canvas from going out of shape. A frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a tried and tested range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which are quick to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, you can easily switch projects if necessary. If going on holiday, just take off the side bars and roll up your canvas - hey presto, ready to travel.
For the A-Z Animals tapestry kits, we recommend a CF189 tapestry frame, as a smaller CF129 will be a bit of a squeeze. Choose a larger frame with code ending in '9' if you are likely to stitch cushion sized designs in the future.
