“Thank you so much Kelly and team. I am delighted with my Lockdown work! And they have been so beautifully transformed into cushions. The Roses one has taken pride of place on our bed. The birds one is off to my daughter’s new flat, and the dogs’ cushion is safely perched on the back of their favourite sofa!!”

Moggins is a cute cat needlepoint tapestry kit for children ages 7+. Once stitched, Moggins can be used as the centre panel in a cushion or book bag. Kit includes colour printed canvas, whole skeins of Anchor tapestry wool, needle and threader and clear instructions.

Moggins is an adorable beginner tapestry kit for young cat lovers, featuring a stylised cat out and about in the garden. Moggins is suitable for beginners, as well as being a lovely quick project for more experienced stitchers. Once the design is stitched, there will be plenty of spare wool so that you can extend it and personalise the border with patterns, stripes and/or a name.

Once stitched frame Moggins as a picture, make it into the centre of a larger cushion or use it as a panel for a favourite bedtime book bag.

As a rough age guide, Moggins is suitable for children age 7+.

Moggins starter tapestry kit is on special offer and will be back to its full price (£17.50) soon.

Kit Contents

Each Moggins tapestry kit comes in a red rope-handled bag with colour illustration and includes:

  • Colour printed canvas (10hpi)

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential but is a good idea for beginners as it leaves both hands free for stitching.

For Moggins, we recommend a 12" wide CF129 tapestry frame but you could use one of the larger frames with code ending in '9' if you think you will stitch larger projects in the future.

Design Size

Printed canvas area: 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm), canvas size 10" x 10" (25cm x 25cm)

Choosing a Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential, but is particularly useful for beginners as it leaves both hands free for stitching. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.

For Moggins, we recommend a CF129 frame but choose one of the larger frames with code ending in ‘9’ if you think you will stitch larger projects in the future.

Printed canvas area: 4″ x 4″ (10cm x 10cm), canvas size 10″ x 10″ (25cm x 25cm)
