By the time they reach the garden flowers and the paws of Ginger the Cat, they will be more confident and able to tackle the more complex areas of the design.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
Do I need a frame? A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to keep your work in shape. Using a frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the following day or after a break. Young stitchers may find it easier to focus on and enjoy their tapestry if they don’t have to physically hold on to the canvas as they stitch.
We stock a good range of British-made no-sew tapestry clip frames which are easy to assemble. Once the four sides are put together, simply attach your canvas in the grooves at the top and bottom using the sturdy clips provided.
Which size of frame is best for a beginner? One of our 12" wide clip frames - CF129 - is a good size. If you wish to progress to larger designs in the future, choose one of the wider frames with code ending in '9' - CF189 is 18” wide, CF219 is 21” wide and CF249 is 24” wide.
See all our tapestry clip frames in our Frames and Accessories category.
