Choosing a Tapestry Frame

Using a tapestry frame will help to prevent your work from going out of shape, as well as making it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break as you don't have to unravel a crumpled tapestry and find where you left off. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which take only a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, allowing you to switch between projects if necessary.

For Wildflower Meadow, we recommend a CF189 frame (18" wide with 9" sidebars), but you might consider choosing a CF219 or CF249 frame if you plan to stitch larger tapestries in the future. A 12" frame will be a bit of a squeeze.
