Starry Sky Robin (right facing) is a mini needlepoint tapestry kit to stitch for your home, a friend’s home – or to buy as a gift for a stitching friend. The design features a resting robin within a starry sky border.

Printed canvas area 4″ x 4″, with 3″ of blank canvas all around so you can personalise your design.

Order the complete kit for colour printed canvas and eight whole skeins of Anchor tapestry wool. Choose the canvas only option if you have wool left from other projects.

Starry Sky Robin is a stunning festive tapestry, featuring a friendly robin within a starry sky border. It's a lovely design to display all year round or to incorporate into your Christmas decorations each year. Once stitched, Starry Sky Robin can be framed as a picture or used as the centre of a larger cushion or bag.

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential, but using one will help to prevent work going out of shape as well as making it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. Children may find it easier to focus on the tapestry if they aren't also having to physically hold on to their tcanvas as they stitch.

We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by easy clips, allowing you to switch between projects if necessary.

For Starry Sky Robin a 12" CF129 frame is a good size. If you may want to stitch a larger design in the future, choose one of the wider frames with code ending in '9' and place your canvas in the centre of the frame when you stitch it.
