Choosing a Tapestry Frame Spring Chickens will fit comfortably onto an 18″ tapestry frame, code CF189. The ‘9’ at the end is the height of the sidebars. Choose a wider frame (a 21″ CF219 or a 24″ CF249) if you think you will stitch larger (wider) projects in the future.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to prevent your work going out of shape. It also makes it easy to resume stitching the following day or to pick up and resume stitching after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which are easy to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, giving you the flexibility to switch between projects if necessary.
