Old English Hen

£38.50£77.00

Old English Hen is a wonderful countryside needlepoint of a hen and chick with flowers, berries and foliage. Stitch Old English Hen alone or as a pair with Old English Cockerel.

Old English Hen is a beautiful tapestry design in a classic combination of terracotta, red, oatmeal and greens. The design features a hen and chick with a flowing floral background and a border of leaves and berries. Old English Hen and her little chick are happy on their own but they also enjoy the company of their good friend, Old English Cockerel.

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to prevent your work from going out of shape. Using a frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break.

We stock a range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which take only a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, allowing you to remove your canvas and switch between projects if necessary.

For Old English Hen, we recommend either a CF249 or a CF2412 frame. See all of our frames in our Frames and Accessories category.
