Dotty Heart is a lovely tapestry heart kit with a red floral background, suitable for all levels of stitcher including beginners as well as being a lovely quick project for more experienced stitchers. There will be plenty of spare wool to use if you intend to extend the design and personalise the border for a special occasion.
As a rough age guide, Dotty Heart is suitable for children age 7+.
Kit Contents
Each Dotty Heart tapestry kit comes in a red rope-handled bag with colour illustration and includes:
- Colour printed canvas (10hpi)
- Eight whole skeins of Anchor tapestry wool
- Reference chart with additional alphabet chart, and instructions
- John James tapestry needle (size 18)
- Needle threader
- Clear instructions for half cross stitch
Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but is particularly useful for beginners as it leaves both hands free for stitching.
For Dotty Heart, we recommend a 12" CF129 tapestry frame but choose one of the larger frames with code ending in '9' if you think you will stitch larger projects in the future.

Choosing a Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but is particularly useful for beginners as it leaves both hands free for stitching. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.
For Dotty Heart, we recommend a CF129 frame but choose one of the larger frames with code ending in ‘9’ if you think you will stitch larger projects in the future.
