Country Cottage needlepoint canvas is a vibrant tapestry of a thatched cottage, with hens in the yard and an abundant flower garden. Country Cottage is a flamboyant needlepoint canvas to help you stitch through your wool stash.
It's a psychedelic summer day in the country! With Country Cottage printed canvas, you can enjoy stitching through your yarn stash while creating your very own thatched cottage, complete with colourful flower borders and hens pecking in the garden.
Once stitched, your Country Cottage canvas can be framed as a picture, made it into the centre panel of a cushion, or folded to make a spectacles case.
No wools are sent with this printed canvas, it is a printed canvas only design. We include an alphabet and numbers chart, and an Anchor Tapisserie wool list which you can use as reference if you choose.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but using one will help to prevent your work going out of shape and makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.
What size of tapestry frame? A CF129 (12" frame) will be a bit of a squeeze and would also probably be annoying to use, and you'd have to trim the sides of the canvas down a bit to fit it on, so we recommend either an 18" frame CF189 or a 21" CF219.
