It’s a psychedelic summer day in the country! With our new Country Cottage printed canvas, you can enjoy stitching through your yarn stash while creating your very own thatched cottage, complete with colourful flower beds and hens pecking in the garden.
Once stitched, your Country Cottage canvas can be framed as a picture, made it into the centre panel of a cushion, or folded to make a spectacles case (which you shouldn’t lose too easily!).
No wools are sent with this printed canvas, it is a printed canvas only design. We include an alphabet and numbers chart, and an Anchor Tapisserie wool list which you can use as reference – or not if you’d prefer to use your own wool palette.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but using one will help to prevent your work going out of shape and makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.
For Country Cottage, we recommend either a CF189, or choose one of the larger frames ending in ‘9’ if you might stitch larger projects in the future.
Note: A CF129 (12″ frame) would be a bit of a squeeze and would also probably be annoying to use, and you’d have to trim the sides of the canvas down a bit to fit it on.
