A-Z Sampler Girls

£67.00

A-Z Girls is a colourful patchwork style needlepoint design to stitch for a baby or young child.

Product Description

A-Z Girls is a lovely patchwork style tapestry. The design takes you on an alphabet journey from angel to zebra, stopping to wave at a mermaid, play ball with a puppy, and have a tea party on the way. Don’t worry about rain, we’ve included an umbrella! There’s an alphabet border for added interest, and lots of space to personalise the centre panel with name and date of birth.

Kit Contents

Each A-Z Girls tapestry kit comes in a red rope-handled bag with colour illustration and includes:

  • Colour printed canvas (10hpi)
  • Reference chart with additional alphabet chart (and instructions for planning)
  • Generous supply of Anchor tapestry wool
  • John James tapestry needle
  • Stitch instructions for half cross and tent stitch

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential, but does help to prevent your work going out of shape and makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.

For A-Z Girls, we recommend either a CF249 or a CF2412 frame.

Kind words from happy customers

Margaret, Cambs.

"My son John is so pleased with the teacosy made for his 50th birthday. He liked the personal touches (name, initials and date). He will be able to continue his British tea ceremony in America especially when watching Wimbledon." - Margaret, Cambs.
