Whirligigs
£19.50 – £39.00
Whirligigs tapestry kit is a patchwork of richly coloured circles, and great fun to stitch with no two circles the same. A versatile needlepoint to make into a specs case or use as a panel in a cushion or bag.
Choose from the complete kit with everything you need including colour printed canvas and a generous supply of Anchor tapestry wool, or the canvas only option if you have lots of wool left from other projects.
Round and round we go! Whirligigs tapestry is a patchwork of richly coloured circles, and is such an enjoyable design to stitch as the design grows before your eyes with each completed square and circle.
Once stitched, Whirligigs can be folded in half and made into a specs case. It could also be used as the centre of a larger cushion, or used as a panel in a tapestry bag.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential but does help to prevent your work going out of shape and makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.
For Whirligigs, we recommend either a CF189 frame or choose a CF219 or CF249 frame if you might stitch something larger in the future. A 12" frame (CF129) will be a bit of a squeeze.
See all our frames here in our Tapestry Frames and Accessories category.
