A-Z Animals N for Nocturnal tapestry is a compact 'N' birth sampler to stitch for a new baby or a young child. N for Nocturnal celebrates night time and nocturnal animals. The tapestry scene features an owl, two bats hanging from branches, a hedgehog, two foxes and a badger. There are also two newts, and stars in the corners with numbers 1-4 in them. N for Nocturnal will add a cosy touch to any nursery.
N for Nocturnal has space to either stitch a large single name using the large lettering provided, or to add more details, eg date of birth and/or birth weight using the smaller alphabet. Frame your finished tapestry as a picture or make into the centre of a larger cushion, or make a book bag for a favourite bedtime book.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential, but using one can help to prevent your canvas from going out of shape. A frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a tried and tested range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which are quick to assemble. The canvas is attached by strong clips, enabling you to easily switch projects if necessary.
For the A-Z Animals tapestry kits, we recommend a CF189 tapestry frame, as a smaller CF129 will be a bit of a squeeze. Click to see our range of tapestry clip frames, from 12” – 24” wide.
TRAVEL TIP: If going on holiday, just take out the side bars and roll up your canvas - hey presto, ready to travel. Remember to pack the entire frame and your wool!
