Fairytale Stocking

Fairytale Stocking is a timeless design featuring a festive array of traditional toys and a decorated Christmas tree against a snowy background. A rocket takes off into a starry sky. Fairytale Christmas stocking appeals equally to both boys and girls.

If you're building up a collection of stockings and want to ensure that the ones you make are all the same size, please note that Fairytale Christmas Stocking is one of our larger shaped Christmas stockings.

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to prevent your work from going out of shape. Using a frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break.

We stock a range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which take only a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, allowing you to remove your canvas and switch between projects if necessary.

For Fairytale Christmas stocking, we recommend either a CF219 or a CF2112 for ease of working, not an 18" one. Choose one of the 24" frames if you  think you will stitch cushion sized projects in the future.
