W for Whale is a small but perfectly formed mini birth sampler, wonderful to stitch for a baby or young child. There is the option to stitch one large name in the space provided or use the smaller alphabet to include more details such as date of birth and/or birth weight.
TIP: Stitch W for Whale for your little Wilfred, William, Wilma, Wilhelmina, Wendy, Winston – or leave out the ‘W’s in the corners and stitch for a child whose name begins with any letter of the alphabet. This applies to all our A-Z Animals designs. Just choose your favourite design and adjust the letters or leave out as needed.

Choosing a Tapestry Frame
A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to prevent your work going out of shape. It also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, giving you the flexibility to switch between projects if you need to.
For the A-Z Animals tapestry kits, we recommend an 18" CF189 tapestry frame, as a smaller CF129 will be a bit of a squeeze. Choose a larger frame with code ending in '9' if you are likely to stitch cushion sized designs in the future.
