Blue Dachshunds

Dachshunds Blue is a variation of our equally popular Dachshund Stripes tapestry kit. If you like the idea of a plain background, you now have the option of little dachshunds against a clear blue sky. The plain background gives you relaxing stitching time when you might just want to fill in between the dogs.

Once stitched, your Dachshunds Blue tapestry can be folded in half and made into a specs case. It could also be used as the centre of a larger cushion or used as a panel in a tapestry bag.

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential but does help to prevent your work going out of shape and makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break. We stock a good range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which only take a few minutes to assemble. As the canvas is attached by easy clips, the frames allow you to switch between projects if necessary.

For Dachshunds Blue, we recommend an 18" wide CF189 tapestry frame or choose a CF219 or CF249 frame if you might stitch something larger in the future. A 12" frame will be a bit of a squeeze.
