After twelve years in our Monk’s Dairy Workshop, we are bursting at the seams and it’s time to move on. We are thrilled to have found larger premises, just five minutes drive away from Monk’s Dairy.

We will be moving into our new workshop next week, so there will be several days after Monday 29th when we may be unable to send out orders or reply to emails. We’ll still be around but need to put all our energies into the move. As you can imagine, there’s rather a lot to do!

We thought you might like to see some of the ‘before’ photos, as our new space started to take shape. It’s been very exciting!

The new workshop space was in use as a joinery when we first went to look around. It was huge, and we didn’t really need it all. Our new landlord offered to split the space for us by putting up an interior wall. This gives us a more manageable space and it’ll still be twice the area that we’ve had at Monk’s Dairy.

Here you can see the wall going up. This was how our new space looked at the end of May.

A few weeks on, and we had a lovely white wall and a fabulous space, filled with natural light.

The view of our new workshop from the outside, with two doors to allow easy access for collections and deliveries. Again, this photograph was taken in May. The exterior of the building has had a bit of a makeover since then.

We look forward to showing you some ‘during’ and ‘after’ pictures once we’re in our new home.

We’ll do our best to ensure that our move runs smoothly as possible and we intend to be back to business as usual by the end of the week.

We’ll still welcome visitors by appointment, but we remain cautious about this because of the coronavirus, and our wish to protect both our staff and customers. Give us a call on 01460 281111 if you’d like to visit, or even better, email kelly@jollyred.co.uk in case we can’t get to the phone!

If you are finishing a tapestry and would like to send it to us, please note our new address for your parcels:
