The design features cats up to their tricks: hiding in boots, basking in the sunshine in a flower garden, and exploring a Christmas stocking. Meanwhile, a collie dog sits patiently by a garden fence, and a basset hound wonders when it'll be dinner time.

Alphabet Cats and Dogs has a lovely alphabet and numbers border, and there's plenty of space to stitch a name (with or without date of birth), or other message in the middle.

Choosing  a Tapestry Frame

A tapestry frame is not essential but using one will help to prevent your work from going out of shape. Using a frame also makes it easy to resume stitching the next day or after a break.

We stock a range of British made no-sew tapestry clip frames which take only a few minutes to assemble. The canvas is attached by sturdy clips, allowing you to remove your canvas and switch between projects if necessary

For Alphabet Cats and Dogs, we recommend a 24" frame, either a CF249 or a CF2412 frame.
