Hand held rotating tapestry frames
We stock various sizes of basic tapestry frames. The traditional ones consist of four bars, with necessary bolts etc to fix them together. The longer two bars on the 'sew' frames have webbing attached to them and you sew the top & bottom edges of your tapestry canvas to this webbing. It can be helpful to add a strip of masking tape to your canvas first so it's easier to stitch through, and you aren't going through the holes of the canvas.
We have recently introduced a No-Sew 'Clip' version of these frames, allowing you to swap canvases over easily. The No-Sew frames attach the canvas along the top and bottom edges by using clips - no sewing involved! The clip frames are extremely popular, so if you aren't sure which sort of frame to go for I'd recommend one of those. You'll be ready to start stitching in minutes.
