Making Waves was the first of Jennifer's needlepoint postacrd designs I stitched, as I was (at  that time) slightly hesitant about backstitch. Now, a little wiser, I can report that there was nothing to worry about - backstitch is just like drawing round the outlines with a pencil, except you use one strand of black thread.
