For small - medium sized projects. Contact us on 01460 281111, or email kelly@jollyred.co.uk if you aren't sure which size frame to order. As a rule, designs over 12" should probably be stitched on a 24" frame, as there is lots of blank canvas around the border. Designs such as Jolly Hearts will fit onto an 18" frame, if you cut off some of the colour block area down the right hand side of the canvas. Remember not to get too carried away with cutting away any 'spare' canvas as it's handy to have the extra canvas when it comes to stretching your tapestry.

One thing to consider is whether you might go on to stitch larger designs. If you are, then it's worth getting a 24" frame so you're covered for any size project.

Then again, you might end up like me with 3 or 4 frames scattered around the house!
