This cute little 12" roll-on tapestry frame is an ideal size for small tapestry kits - particularly Jolly Red Starter Kits, and for Jennifer Pudney's needlepoint postcards. Easy to put together - instructions provided. Using a frame helps to speed up stitching as you have both hands free! If you are considering buying a starter kit for anyone embarking on their first project (particularly a young child) we do recommend that you buy one of the frames too. If they're trying to sort out their hand/eye coordination, it's nice if they don't have to physically hold the tapestry canvas at the same time. With a frame, they can rest it against a table while they are stitching - perfect!
